That's the premise of 'The Veil of Maya,' which will star Dougray Scott and, according to Variety, begin shooting in London this January.

The romantic fantasy role is a bit of a departure for the man who co-starred in 2007's 'Hitman' and 2002's horror flick 'Dark Water.' The story, directed by Dana Lustig ('Wild Cherry', 'Kill Me Later') and written by Alex Kustanovich ('Red Serpent') and Vadim Moldovan, is a "Kafkaesque story of a woman who travels back in time to undo the love relationship and avoid its tragic finale."

We're going to assume the specifics will differ from the other recent time-bending love story, the critically-bashed 'The Time Traveler's Wife.' Now we just need someone to make a warped, fantastical movie based on 'Einstein's Dreams' (Spike Jonze, we're looking at you) and then we can retire the subgenre for good.
