A Battlestar Galactica fan has made a Cylon cake complete with a working red eye. First reported over at SciFi Wire, they're as impressed with it as I am.

Apparently someone named Willito is having a birthday, and either he's a real serious BSG fan, and someone made the cake to order, or his friend the cake maker is making quite a statement. Either way, as creepy as grey icing looks, it's one ambitious cake. It certainly doesn't qualify as a Cake Wreck, but is definitely worthy of praise.

But that icing kind of creeps me out. Am I the only one wondering what grey icing tastes like? Does it have a tinny aftertaste?
