Johnny Depp, Christian Bale & Marion Cotillard Interviews for 'Public Enemies'

Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard dish on their new John Dillinger biopic 'Public Enemies,' and reveal top-secret scoop on their upcoming projects, including 'Batman 3,' 'Inception' and 'Alice in Wonderland.'

Johnny Depp dug playing notorious Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger, but he may be more psyched about his turn as the Mad Hatter. Christian Bale has some discouraging news for 'Batman' fans. And Oscar winner Marion Cotillard loves gushing about romancing Mr. Depp on-screen, but is a bit less forthcoming with info on Christopher Nolan's secretive thriller 'Inception.'

Moviefone learned all this and much more when we sat down with Depp, Bale and Cotillard, just feet from the famed 'Untouchables' stairs in Chicago's Union Station, to get the lowdown on the thrilling new Dillinger biopic 'Public Enemies.'

Man, Public Enemies was such a good movie(because Johnny Depp's in it of course) but, Johnny didn't have enoough script... it was supposed to be about Dillinger but instead it was about Christian Bale's character. But altogether Johnny Depp made the movie better. So Johnny Depp could be in the worst movie ever but your too busy gazing at Johnny to evennotice the movie.

any Depp's movie; FASCINATING.. nothing, about him sucks.. he's such a legend.. about the Public Enemies?? never would i go quietly into that good opening.. i can't wait to see him promoting my scripts and story.. i know he'll do great on expressing the protagist's role together with Kate, again.. he's a good person, good actor, and good friend, don't you agree?? he's always a fans' friend.. i am never surprised that disney couldn't let him go on POTC.. no one could have done the role just as he did..

i have a question about the movie
i thought i saw a scene with Dillinger robbing a bank in 1931
behind him is a sign that says FDIC
I googled FDIC and it was formed in 1933
can anyone else let me know if they know the robery was portrayed as being in 1931?

This morning the critics made me remember why this movie disappointed me. I thought 'Donny Brasco' was fabulous! I had almost forgotten about it. Johnny was also outstanding in Blow, when he played a real life character, on the opposite side of the law.
So I probably set the bar too high.
I still think this one was just mediocre.

Is it because we don't have to face each other, in this age of computers, that we feel we can be so nasty to each other? I am new to the use of the computer as a means of communication. What Iam finding out is there are a lot of angry people out there.

I was very disappointed in this movie. It's very bland and slow. It starts out with a bang and sizzles out quickly. It's only redeeming quality was Johnny Depp!

FLOP!!! horible... I expected a much more dynamic plot between the characters. The conflict was too simple and the camera agrivated me. It changed between medias too often to keep focused on what was going on. Actors did the best they could with what they had. Director Michael Mann really dropped the ball on this one. Fans beware, don't expect much of Johnny Depp and Christian Bale clashing their first time on the big screen on this flick. Two popular stars with a historical crime spree in America, and the hipe really motivated me to go and this is what I get...cheap, poor planned, and pointless.
