That's right, the 'Twilight' heartthrob turns the ripe young age of 23 today, and -- after the 22nd year he had -- Rob has quite a lot to celebrate. 'Twilight' was such a hit that it catapulted Pattinson from relative unknown to Hollywood's A-list and won him an adoring fan base that includes not only screaming tween girls but also women (and, let's face it, a good number of men) of all ages and creeds. Heck, fans in Indonesia even threw him a birthday party this week.

Rob Pattinson'New Moon': Pattinson is just now wrapping up filming on the Canada set of the eagerly anticipated sequel to 'Twilight,' which finds his dreamy vampire Edward Cullen separated by oceans from his human ladylove Bella Swann (Kristen Stewart). He'll begin filming the third 'Twilight' flick, 'Eclipse' this fall. 'New Moon is set to hit theaters Nov. 20, 2009, while 'Eclipse' is slated for a June 20, 2010, bow.



'Little Ashes': Can't wait until November to get your next Pattison fix? You're in luck. Rob can currently be found in select theaters sporting a sweet, sweet mustache for his role as a young, sexually experimental (he romances a dude -- sorry, ladies) Salvador Dali in the biopic 'Little Ashes.'



'Remember Me' (aka 'Memoirs'): Rob will return to more familiar territory with 'Remember Me,' a star-crossed lovers drama he'll film this summer in New Yor. Originally entitled 'Memoirs,' the film centers on two young lovers whose romance is threatened by family tragedies.



'Unbound Captives': Pattinson will star opposite Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz in this period drama which marks the writer-director debut of Madeline Stowe. Weisz and Pattison will play a mother and son who are rescued by a frontiersman (Jackman) after their husband/father is killed by a Comanche war party.
