'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'
With 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' bowing this July 15, there is only one boy-wizard book left for the adapting. Luckily for Potterheads, however, there are still two films to anticipate, as the final chapter in the 'Potter' saga has been split in half. Part I, which is already filming in London, is set to arrive in theaters on Nov. 19, 2010, and Part II is due July 15, 2011.

'Where the Wild Things Are'
After a four-year labor of love, director Spike Jonze's adaptation of Maurice Sendak's beloved children's book storms into theaters on Oct. 16. And judging by the chills-inducing trailer, it's going to be one heck of a 'Wild' ride.

Though it won't hit bookstores until Sept. 15, Columbia is already prepping to bring the third book in Dan Brown's Robert Langdon trilogy to the big screen. Tom Hanks, who starred in 2006's 'Code,' will reprise his role as Robert Langdon in 'Angels & Demons,' hitting theaters May 15.

'New Moon' & 'Eclipse'
With the runaway success of 'Twilight' last November, Summit has already begun filming on the sequel 'New Moon' and begun pre-production on an adaptation of the third book in the franchise, 'Eclipse.' 'New Moon' will be released on Nov. 20, 2009, and 'Eclipse' is tentatively scheduled to make its way to theaters on June 30, 2010.

'The Hobbit'
The prequel to J.R.R. Tolkien 'Lord of the Rings' prequel, which chronicles Frodo's uncle Bilbo's quest to slay a dragon, is coming to theaters with Guillermo del Toro ('Hellboy') directing and original 'LOTR' helmer Peter Jackson producing. The dense book will be split into two films, with the first to be released in 2010 and the second for 2011.

'The Lovely Bones'
Oscar-winning 'Lord of the Rings' director Peter Jackson takes the reins of this adaptation of Alice Sebold's heartbreaking yet hopeful best-seller about a murdered girl who witnesses the aftershocks of her death from somewhere between heaven and Earth. Due in theaters on Dec. 11, the movie stars 'Atonement' Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan as the young girl and Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz as her grief-stricken parents.

Based on Kazuo Ishiguro's critically acclaimed novel, 'Never Let Me Go' stars Keira Knightley as a student at a remote English boarding school who discovers that she and her friends are clones bred for the sole purpose of organ harvesting (yep, everyone wants a piece of Keira). The movie is currently filming and is bound for cineplexes sometime in 2010.
