Since debuting as "Leatherface" in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, actor Gunnar Hansen has appeared in some pretty wackily-titled movies. I'm talking about stuff like Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, Hellblock 13, Chainsaw Sally, Apocalypse and the Beauty Queen and Swarm of the Snakehead -- to name only a handful. But Gunnar Hansen in Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre? Now that's some pretty creative lunacy right there.

According to Variety, the horror film will come from Icelandic filmmaker Julius Kemp, who once upon a time directed a film called Wallpaper: An Erotic Love Story. Weird. Apparently the producers are describing the project as a mixture between The Blair Witch Project, The Evil Dead and (wow, imagine that) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Only with whales. And in Finland Iceland. Anyway, I can't wait to see it. I live for movies with titles like this one.
