Taking more than 30 months to film, at a cost next to zero, Kenny stands to be the year's highest grossing film. Never heard of it? Neither had we until it was pointed out that the movie has made almost three million dollars. By our rudimentary math: costs almost nothing to make + three million dollars = a tidy profit.Even stranger is that the quirky Australian comedy about a man who sells port-a-potties was funded entirely by the Australian company Splashdown which sells -- you guessed it -- port-a-potties. Now, it doesn't take a whiz to know most Australian films are water under the bridge to American audiences, but if a small film like this stands to be number one, shouldn't we take notice?
