Jon Favreau is back on the MySpace scene, stopping by yet again to drop some further Iron Man info for eager fans. Although Comic Con is barelyt a week away and many Marvel flicks have chosen to use that forum as the time and place to share big movie information, Favreau went straight to the fans when he got confirmation of a filming date for his upcoming superhero film. Let's not be silly here -- I'm sure Fav will have plenty of interesting details to share with us if he felt okay bringing this information to the table early -- but it is still nice to hear from him as frequently as we do. According to the director, filming is set to begin in February (of 2007, of course), which puts the film right on target for a hopeful summer of '08 release.
