BubbleDirector Steven Soderbergh's Bubble has been getting a lot of attention lately, as the first feature film to try something new with its distribution: having the film available in theaters, on DVD, and on HDNet Movies all on the same day (January 26). Personally, I think this is where film and television are headed, but Esquire's Mike D'Angelo says that Bubble is a shaky first step in that direction. Actually, that's not true. What he actually says is it's "the weirdest goddamn movie ever released by a major American filmmaker."
