Like Amid over at Cartoon Brew, I've yet to be truly floored by
anything from Dreamworks Animation. Shrek is funny, but like Shark Tale and Madagascar,
there's very little going on below the surface. Despite the popularity of its output so far, Dreamworks still has yet
to create anything even worthy of comparison to Pixar. This isn't, however, due to a lack of creative talent. A few of
Dreamworks' animators have started blogs where you can view some of their artwork. Some of the stuff they come up with
is truly amazing, which makes one wonder why Dreamworks doesn't try to escape the tired formula it's been using in all
its movies and actually make something with true artistic vision. The artists' blogs are listed below:
