We reported here a few months ago
about brilliant Mexican director Guillermo
del Toro's latest project, Pan's Labyrinth. The film,
just in case you can't find your del Toro file, is described as a "horror-fantasy" about a young girl living
in Franco's Spain, who has created a (very scary) imaginary world of her own in which she prefers to live. Over the
course of the film, the girl learns to deal with the realities of fascist Spain through her relationship with and life
in her fantasy world. The teaser, while it's totally uninformative (like most teasers), offers our first look at the creatures William Stout created to inhabit the film's imaginary world in action. What do you think?
[Note: be patient when you view the teaser. There's some sort of (French) advertising pop-up that appears when you click the link - if you click that, though, you eventually will get access to the flash clip.]
