But the REAL fans know that he's just an irrepressible genius who keeps it real, and that's why, in an online poll of about 10,000 participants conducted by Empire magazine, Cruise was voted the "biggest star of all time." In taking the top spot, he beat out such minor figures as Robert De Niro (#2), and Marilyn Monroe (#5), among others. Yeah! Take that, all you Tom haters.
