Halle Berry is a very controversial figure in the Marvel fan community. She has performed as Storm in the X-Men series, and sort of as Catwoman in the laughably bad film of the same name. She professes
a desire to avoid typecasting, yet continues to return to comic book films, much to the chagrin of many fans. Berry recently spoke to Extra about her upcoming
performance in X-Men 3, and said that she is happy that her
character will be seen in flight for the new movie. According to Berry "the fans would see me on the street and
say, 'You know, how lame are you- you don't even fly.'" I hate to break it to you, Halle, but I really don't
think a flight scene is going to repair your image with "the fans."
