Colin FarrellEveryone's favorite chain-smoking, curse-wielding, heartthrob, Colin Farrell, has checked himself into a treatment center because of exhaustion and dependency on prescription medication. No word on his location (keep the get well cards in a safe place for now), but his publicist is claiming that this little pain medication thing stems from a back injury he suffered not long ago.

Personally, I never really got the whole "exhaustion" excuse. It seems as if they throw that in there first, ahead of the pain killers, in order to somehow justify it all. Yeah, maybe the guy is tired because he doesn't stop partying. Or maybe the damn pain killers are making him tired. For some reason I sense there's a little something more to this story and, for a publicist, pain killers sound better than cocaine. Anyone shocked?
