Embattled California governor/sometime James Cameron muse Arnold Schwarzenegger is in the
middle of a messy fight with representatives from Graz, the Austrian town where the former boybuilder spent his
formative years. Last week, some Grazians criticized Arnold for his decision to deny clemency to convicted killer
Tookie Williams, with the city's deputy mayor calling Schwarzenegger "an unsuitable godfather for a public
building" (his name is on the city's soccer stadium). Saying that "Graz will not have problems in the future
with my decisions as governor of California, because officially nothing connects us any more," the star demanded
that his name be taken off the stadium, as well as any and all materials promoting the city. Now, the mayor of Graz is
trying to play nice. In response to Schwarzenegger's claim that he was returning the city's ring of honor, Siegfried
Nagl wrote a letter asking that he reconsider. "I hope that very soon we'll hear you say, 'I'll be back,'"
Nagl said. Um, okay, but be careful what you wish for, Nagl. Because, when The Terminator said that? He pretty much
only came back to blow stuff away.Categories
