Remember all those rumblings about prison time for Russell Crowe, and
the possible felony conviction that would make him have to quit acting
in Hollywood? And how desperately hard that would be make his life,
because American immigration officials pick on him, just like everyone
else? Never mind. The New York Post is reporting (on the front page, no less) that Crowe will plead guilty today to misdemeanor assault and will, instead of jail time or probation, be sentenced to "time served" - the one night he spent in jail after the phone-throwing incident.
Well, thank goodness. Now he can get to work on that Gladiator sequel.
