Thomas Hayden Church

When Kirsten Dunst revealed the villainous cast for Spider-Man 3, there was (quite understandable) wide-spread flipping out about the casting of Topher Grace as Venom. What was sort of forgotten during the frenzy is that the dumb one from Wings Thomas Haden Church was cast as Sandman. Sandman, whose alter-ego has the kickass name of "Flint Marko," is the Spidey-hater who, not surprisingly, can turn into "a sand-like substance."

What do you guys think of Church in the role? Does the picture fulfill your expectations?
