George Clooney apparently got into a scuffle Thursday night following a gala screening of his newest film, Good Night and Good Luck, in London's West End. Initial reports said alternately that Clooney had gotten physical with a security guard while trying to sneak out a rear exit to avoid photographers, or that he was fighting with someone connected with his film who had criticized his acting skills. Neither is true, say Clooney and his Los Angles publicist, Stan Rosenfield.
Rosenfield confirmed in a statement that Clooney did get into a fight with a someone connected with the film, but the fight was over the way "someone being unkind to a woman", not Clooney's acting ability. George Clooney coming to the rescue of a damsel in distress? With chivalry like that, maybe Clooney should consider a sexy knight story for his next film.
