Well, friend, wonder no more.

A clever, computer-nerdy (and I say that with the utmost respect) movie-lover has made a Google maps mashup that combines specific movie locations with both general and specific maps. Obviously the list isn't an exhaustive one, but it's fun to use the front page to play movie location roulette - just click on random pointers and see what was filmed in your neighborhood.
