Screenwriter Skip Woods has been tapped to adapt the popular video game Hitman into a feature film starring Vin Diesel. Woods, who wrote Swordfish (a.k.a. the one where Halle went topless), as well as the indie feature Thursday, also did some work on the remake of Logan's Run titled, "Leave this one alone you bastards!"
Fox is looking at Hitman as a possible franchise for them, seeing as the first three games released have sold more than 5 million units. With Hitman: Blood Money set to hit the gaming streets this winter, it's looking like this one may be around awhile. In case you're actually interested in the story (instead of Vin's diesel forearms), it's said to center around an international assassin dubbed Agent 47 who, in turn, works for the creatively named organization, Agency. That's right folks - the agency is called Agency. Man, what I would give to be a fly on the wall during that brainstorming session.
