Peeing with glee about the new video iPod? Totally stoked about being able to watch That's So Raven
on the subway? Oh yeah, me too. But I wish I could somehow put movies
on the thing, and no longer need to steal my brother's
portable DVD player every time I'm going on a long flight. And what do
you know? As if by magic, my dreams (well, one of them) have been
fulfilled: Mark Pilgrim
published a detail guide to ripping DVDs for download into your iPod using a program called Handbrake.
While the portable DVD player people will surely not be happy about
this, for tech savvy, movie-loving consumers very little could be
cooler. [I've not tried this myself, but Pilgrim's pretty reliable. Let us know if you have any problems.]
