Well, I guess this means Pierce Brosnan is officially not coming back.Screenwriter Paul Haggis, who is working on the Casino Royale screenplay, reportedly told The Hollywood Reporter that the 21st Bond film is going to break the mold: "We're trying to reinvent Bond," he said. "He's 28 - No Q, no gadgets." That would put the film somewhat in line with the novel it's based on. Casino Royale was the first Bond book by Ian Fleming, and in it, the agent was, according to the BBC, depicted as a "more youthful, realistic and cold character than the films."
So: cold, realistic, and 28. Any names come to mind?
