Sci-Fi Wire reports that the big-budget adaptation of V For Vendetta has been pushed back from the original November 2005 date to May 2006. A few weeks ago we here at Cinematical had speculated the movie, based on the Alan Moore graphic novel and with many of the same filmmakers as The Matrix, would be pushed back. The reasoning offered up by Karina then was that this would be out of sensitivity over the recent bombings in London. The official reason, though seems to be to "accomodate the post-production schedule." I get the feeling this is a rationalization, though, and the first reason is the actual one. Whichever one it is, we're going to have to wait a few more months to see a giant-sized bald Natalie Portman.
