Apparently Joey Lauren Adams is serious about Joey Lauren Adam's movie being a movie by Joey Lauren Adams. Not only did she write and direct Come Early Morning, based in her hometown of North Little Rock, Arkansas, but now she's editing it herself, as well. Whether or not the movie will be any good will have to be determined once (if) it's released, but I do like the idea of Adams filming the movie in the South in order to maintain the film's integrity and a more genuine feel. The film has no distributor as of yet.
