Sydney hopes to host a gigantic Catholic gathering in 2008, and they're asking Mel Gibson for help. Organizers would like Gibson to recreate the Stations of the Cross, including the Last Supper and the crucifixion. The Pope will announce the venue for the gathering on August 21, and Sydney hopes Gibson's contribution will help persuade the decision. Gibson, however, has not come forward as of yet to accept the gig. Over 400,000 are expected to attend.
