I never really got into Highlander. Not the movie, not the television series, and not the Highlander breakfast cereal. So, it seems strange that I'd be spending my time posting about the latest Highlander movie, titled Highlander: The Source, which begins shooting this October with a proposed release of 2006 or early 2007. I'm sure its scores of fans are already salivating at the prospect of seeing Duncan MacLeod continue his head-chopping adventures, but what interested me the most was that the studio also plans to make an anime film based on the series. Now that could be awesome.
