Joan Blondell poses for a publicity still for Mervyn LeRoy and Busby Berkeley's Goldiggers of 1933. In it, she plays Carol, the brains of a three-girl outfit of scheming chorines. Carol leads the crew from one act of almost-prostitution to another until - wouldn'tcha just know it? - love comes along and bites her in the ass. Highly, highly recommended if you're interested in ridiculously bawdy pre-Code musicals.
