According to a cover story in the upcoming issue of VOGUE, Madonna is planning on releasing a sequel of sorts to her groundbreaking 1991 documentary/concert film, Truth or Dare. To be called I'm Going to Tell You a Secret, the film has been directed by music video helmer Jonas Akerlund, and is set to premiere later this year. Madonna says, the film "starts with the struggle of a dancer trying to get into a show", then follows her recent Re-Invention tour and finally ends with her Kaballah-motivated trip to Israel. There is a very brief teaser trailer for the film available here, in which the Material Matron stretches, poses with Michael Moore, and looks up in wonder at the sky (presumably because that's where God lives). Tonally, it seems to have it's similarities to Dare, but that film's dirty B&W 16 mm look - which at times resembled La Dolce Vita with sweat stains on the lens - will surely be missed.
