SelmaJ-Blo is reporting that director Robert Rodriguez has his eye on Salma Hayek for a role in Sin City 2. While down in Mexico, he told newspaper Reforma, "I always consider Salma for my projects, even for male roles." He added, "But yes, there is a character that suits her in this new movie."

What role she's in consideration for remains to be seen. But since we know the sequel will be based on "A Dame to Kill For", early speculation points to the Ava character. Rodriguez also confirmed in the interview that Mickey Rourke will return.
