Charlie and the Chocolate Factory director Tim Burton flatly told reporters "No" when asked if he was interested in adapting the Roald Dahl's sequel to Chocolate Factory - Charlie & The Great Glass Elevator. Johnny Depp isn't saying no, however. So a Tim Burton-less sequel may not be out of the question if the first film does well at the box office (which might be close to impossible considering the current box office climate).

Depp is busy filming the next two Pirates of the Carribean movies and has no set plans after. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
