I played the first Max Payne game on my PS2 years ago and remember thinking how very movielike the story and gameplay were. When the sequel was released, I just knew a movie wasn't far behind. Sure enough, 20th Century Fox has plans to put the pain-killer popping revenge seeker on the big screen. The story is said to center on the origin's of Max Payne, so should we assume that means prior to game one? I didn't think Max was much fun before that, but I could be wrong. From the story: "Unlike a novel, video
games by nature leave gaps in the story, which allows filmmakers an opportunity
to flesh out the story and fill those holes in a meaningful way." Funny, I thought novels did that.Categories
