A vast majority of Stephen King's books have been made into TV movies and theatrical releases, and those which haven't been developed yet are simply waiting around for it to happen. For example, fans of King's 1984 fantasy The Talisman (which he co-wrote with author Peter Straub) have been hearing rumors of a movie ever since the book came out, and mentions of Steven Spielberg's involvement have been around for almost just as long. According to King's official site, the movie is set to be released this year with Spielberg producing, though we shall have to wait and see.
