Russell Crowe went on Letterman last night, to shill Cinderella Man and "apologize" for his recent spat of phone violence. His mea culpa was heavy on dark, near philosophically meditative comments on his life and current state of mind. Being away from his wife and child induces "a level of abject loneliness that I'm not used to at all," he said.
Though he admitted to having problems with his temper, he also talked about his "infinite patience", which apparently went finite when Crowe was kept from "filling [his] basic obligations to [his] wife", who "needs to know that I'm at home, I'm in bed, I haven't had too much to drink and, primely important, that I'm alone," he said. So, you see? Russell Crowe's a deep man, one who feels things. Deeply. But if he can't lie on the phone to his wife, appliances will fly. Categories
