Empire has an "exclusive" interview with Richard Linklater, in regards to his adaptation of Eric Schlosser's Fast Food Nation. Schlosser and Linklater worked together on the script, which, Linklater says, is about "the teenagers who work at the fast food places, and immigrant labourers who come across the border, working in the packing plants, and an executive. It's kind of from different perspectives." Linklater will shoot the project, probably with Catalina Sandino Moreno, this fall.
