A man was cited by police for taking snapshots of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith with his digital camera. He was arrested Thursday outside the Del Oro Theater in downtown Grass Valley, California after moviegoers spotted him aiming his camera at the screen during the movie. He was cited for allegedly violating California Penal Code 653 (Z) which prohibits operating a recording device in a motion picture theater without the proprietor's consent. SFGate.com reports that it's a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $2,500 and imprisonment.
