The Da Vinci Code has been on the best seller list for what seems like years now. You all know Ron Howard is directing the big screen adaptation with Tom Hanks in the lead role. Sony Pictures have launched an official website which includes the teaser poster, release dates and a trailer (which I'm sure must be the teaser) for the film, which will hit theaters on May 19th, 2006. After flying through what appears to be cave caverns with symbols on the walls, we pull back to reveal we were in the cracks of the Mona Lisa. Who knew there were little men who can fit in the acrylic cracks of a painting? "No matter what you have read, no matter what you believe, the journey has just begun," touts the old movie-guy voice.
