28 Days Later may be credited for bringing back the Zombie/Horror subgenre, and talk of a sequel has been heard in various news interviews. According to a scooper at AICN, 28 Days Later director Danny Boyle says negotiations are underway to recruit Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to helm the film, to be called 28 Weeks Later. It seems Boyle plans to take on a producer role for the sequel. Fresnadillo directed the Spanish thriller Intacto, which got a lot of positive attention.
