David Lynch is partnering with StudioCanal (a division of Vivendi Universal) to finance his next film, to be titled Inland Empire. StudioCanal is trying to keep the deal under wraps until Thursday, when they've got planned some kind of "grand unveiling" on the Cannes Croisette, but The Hollywood Reporter has learned that there doesn't seem to be an attached cast, or even a script.
