7455.jpgVia our distant cousins at Engadget: Harold Ramis is directing what would presume to be a comedy about online social networking site Friendster. Topher Grace will star as a young man who employs all manner of personal technology - instant messaging, camera phones, etc - to enable his quest for "love on the internet". There really doesn't seem to be a limit to the potentially snarky things to say about all this, but I'll cap it to two:

1.  I'm pretty sure a much better version of this film has already been made,

and

2.  Mr. Ramis? With all due respect, I think your talents would be better served making Ghostbusters 3. Any plans for that, by the way?
