Buffy-verse creator and Toy Story screenwriter Joss Whedon has been picked by Warner Brothers to write and direct their newWonder Woman feature, based on the DC Comic of the same name. The picture will be produced by Joel Silver and Leonard Goldman, who have had the project in development for some time; at one point, Sandra Bullock was attached to the the title role. As far as this incarnation goes, no lead actress or start date has yet been announced.
